This was a renovation to a historic building in the city, providing more strength to support the building in the event of an earthquake. We had to get 15m beams, which weighed over 2 tonnes, through a window opening and up four meters in between floor joist.
This had its challenges, but with good old Kiwi ingenuity and some extra steel, we got these beams safely and swiftly into place along with all the other steel in the building about 1 week ahead of their schedule.
