Black Steel Mobile Ltd started out in 1995. Due to Team New Zealand's victory in San Diego, owner Tony Black felt enough confidence in Auckland's economic outlook to risk starting a small business. From one man, one van working from a car-port Black Steel Mobile Ltd has grown into what it is today.

The years of experience, innovation and hard work has ensured that Black Steel Mobile Ltd are now the leading specialist in the on site fabrication of residential structural steel.

Black Steel Mobile Ltd's fleet of mobile workshops are equipped with all of the tools required to complete the majority of steel fabrication on site.

Black Steel Mobile also has a comprehensive workshop offering support to the mobile fleet and taking care of all galvanizing, metal spraying, and steel rolling requirements to ensure that no matter how complex the project, Black Steel Mobile deliver.

We are current members of Steel Construction New Zealand, HERA, Site Safe & Hazardco. This keeps us up to date with technology and what's happening in the market.

Safety Policy

Black Steel Mobile Ltd has 'No questions asked' safety policy in place with our staff. Anything that they need in relation to safety is provided. This policy is complemented by many of our safety focus points.

Membership of Site Safe New Zealand and Hazardco.
A full time Health and Safety Supervisor who serves on a number of Safety Commitees for our suppliers.
